This workshop will focus on what yoga can teach us about being grounded. We all know that we can caught up ‘in our heads’ much of the time while our yoga practice begins from the ground up. Learning yoga-based techniques to ground our energy can help us to feel more connected to our bodies, the Earth around us and become more mindful of our motivations and movements. In this workshop, Oona will teach a range of asana, pranayama and meditation practices each with the emphasis on taking time to ‘be’ in the body and to connect with the ground beneath our feet.
Practices to Ground will be held in the unique and tranquil environment of The Yoga Barn in Lee, near Ilfracombe. Over the three hours there will be time and space to explore the techniques, drink tea and enjoy refreshments and take some time to come down to earth! Spaces will be limited so early booking is advised.
Cost £20 per person, including refreshments, handouts and all equipment.
