Dear friends! We have a fully booked vegan Japanese evening with the beautiful Naoko Kabashima here in The Yoga Barn on Thursday the 20th February. This is a quick reminder of what you’ll need to bring with you: an open heart; Chop sticks or cutlery(for the whole meal); a dinner plate; a side plate; a mug or a bowl for Miso soup; a cushion that you feel comfortable sitting on and your own drink (Naoko will provide black bean tea)! Phew!
And this is a little note from the chef herself:
うこそ ! Welcome !
My name is Naoko. I am Japanese, from Fukuoka, Japan.
I am holding a Japanese meal event in The Yoga Barn. I will be serving a variety of different Japanese dishes which are traditional within my family, including Sushi,Tempura, Miso Soup and a traditional dessert. The food is plant based and organic, where available. Japanese dishes are totally different from Western food, so you may discover your new taste buds!
The evening will start at 7 pm
私はお会いできるのを楽しみにしているよ。
(I am looking forward to seeing you)!
“The LOVE we put into MAKING A MEAL becomes part of it and changes its nature. According to the Quantum Theory, through our touch, even unconsciously through our breath, our energy is transferred to the food we prepare thus to those we feed. And this explains why food made with LOVE is always a feast…” Ilse Crawford
