“Listen to the sounds of the waves within you” Rumi
In this workshop we will be exploring some Yogic practises to enhance your experience in the water, such as:
• Breathing techniques (Pranayama) – to focus the mind and to improve breathing capacity
• Posture work (Asana) – to promote awareness, core strength, flexibility, stability, and greater inner harmony when reconnecting with nature and its flow
• Introduction to Meditation (Dhyana) – a powerful tool to help stilling and focusing the mind in more challenging conditions
Please bring a mat (don`t worry if you haven`t got one as we have plenty of spare ones to share), comfortable clothing and a blanket. I would also recommend bringing your board and suit for a surf after your Yoga practise, if there is swell.
Refreshments, biscuits and potential for a good giggle will be provided…
ALL ARE EXTREMELY WELCOME, no previous experience in Yoga required!
